Robert
Shaw
Formerly
a Senior Teacher at the Glasgow School of Chiropody, Robert
Shaw established the practice in 1980.
His
interest in postgraduate education has developed over the
years through his involvement as Chairman of the West of Scotland
Podiatry Postgraduate Group.
Robert is a visiting lecturer at Caledonian University as
well as being podiatrist for Guinness United Distillers in
Kilmarnock.
He holds the Merirorious Award of the Society of Chiropodists
and Podiatrists and is an Honorary Vice President of his professional
organisation.
Robert
is the practice owner and practices both from the Marchmont
Road Practice in Ayr and the Elmwood Medical Practice in Newton
Mearns.

Ann
Moulds
A
qualified podiatrist since 1982 Ann Moulds has accumulated
a wealth of experience from working within the private sector
and the NHS.
She held the position of standing podiatrist for H.M.S. Gannet
Naval Base for 8 years. She has had the honour of working
with an Olympic Speed Skating Team, Ayr Eagles Professional
Ice Hockey Team and as a contract podiatrist for Ayr United
Football Team. Ann Also had the pleasure of working with Jan
de Vries providing Podiatry and Biomechanical assessments
in conjunction with alternative medicine.
As
well as an experienced podiatrist Ann specialises in the Bowen
Technique.
This treatment is relatively new to Britain, is gaining excellent
world wide recognition for the treatment of back, knee, hip
and shoulder pain as well as many other disabling and chronic
conditions.

John
PD McCall
John
McCall has had extensive experience working in private practice
and the NHS in Scotland and in Yorkshire. John provides a
Saturday morning podiatry service at Marchmont Road.
His keen interest in Biomechanics
and Orthotics is put into practice at Marchmont road and
at the Ayr Sports Medicine Centre on Thursday evenings.
John also specialises in diabetes and the treatment of 'high
risk' foot problems at Ayr Hospital. He has developed the
diabetic foot clinics in Barnsley District General Hospital
and Ayr Hospital.
John
has contributed to Podiatry as a past Chairman of the Ayrshire
Branch of the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists, has
worked with the Scottish Health Executive on projects involved
with Diabetes Care, is currently a member of the Scottish
Diabetes Group, a lecturer on the Warwick Diabetes Care certificate
course and a reviewer for the Clinical Standards Board for
Scotland.
